Returns & Refunds policy

1. Introduction

We are committed to providing high‑quality clothing and excellent customer service. This Return & Refund Policy outlines your rights as a consumer and our obligations as a supplier under the Zimbabwe Consumer Protection Act [Chapter 14:44].

2. Return Period

You may return any eligible clothing item within seven (7) days of delivery or purchase.
This right is provided under the Consumer Protection Act, which empowers consumers to return unwanted goods within this period.

3. Conditions for Returns

To qualify for a return, the clothing item must:

  • Be unused, unworn and unwashed

  • Be intact with no damage, stains, or odours

  • Have all original tags and packaging

  • Be unmodified (no alterations, custom tailoring, etc.)

  • Be accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase

  • In order to exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement. You can inform us of your decision by e-mail lejardincustomerservice@thegardenofgains.co.uk prior to returning item/items

Merchants may apply a reasonable inspection period to assess the item’s condition before the return is accepted.

4. Refunds, Replacements & Repairs

Depending on the situation, consumers are entitled to one of the following:

a. Refund

A full refund will be issued if the item meets the return conditions and is in resalable condition.
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.

b. Replacement

If the item is defective or the wrong size/style was supplied, you may request a replacement.

c. Repair (Only for Defective Items)

Where a defect is repairable, a repair may be offered instead of a replacement or refund.

Consumers have the right to a refund, repair, or replacement for defective goods returned within the applicable period.

5. Items Not Eligible for Return

The following categories cannot be returned:

  • Items that have been worn, altered, or damaged after purchase

  • Items falling under health‑sensitive categories if applicable (e.g., underwear), as returns may not apply to goods that pose public‑health risks

  • Sale/clearance items only if explicitly stated as “non‑returnable” before purchase

6. Return Process

To return an item:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of purchase/delivery via email.

  2. Provide your receipt or proof of purchase.

  3. Bring or send the item to our store/returns department.

  4. Allow a short inspection period for assessment, no longer than 30 day.

Once approved, we will process your refund or issue your replacement.

Returning Goods

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods to us. You should send the goods to the following address:

We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the goods or proof of received return delivery.
